Salt water has no effect on FRP grating and a built-in UV inhibitor protects the grating from sunlight.
Unlike wooden docks, FRP grating will not chip, crack or splinter in lakes and oceans. Whether it’s hot, cold, or dry, your FRP dock will stand up to whatever Mother Nature brings.

Comfortable Walking Surface
The top surface of the grating has a finely gritted, non-slip surface which provides excellent traction without being too coarse. Mini-Mesh grating has a ¾” grid pattern with ½” open squares. This results in 44% open area which allows light and water to pass through and provides a very comfortable decking surface to walk on in bare feet, flip-flops, or anything else you’re wearing.

The top surface of Mini-mesh FRP Grating (AKA micro-mesh) is made from
1/4″ bars that are 3/4″ on center. This creates a half-inch square opening
which is ADA compliant.

Availability
Our Mini-Mesh Dock Grating is available in 4′ x 8′ x 1” deep or 4′ x 8′ x 1.5” deep panels.
1″ deep panels are strong enough to support foot traffic over a 2-foot span.
Order the 1.5″ deep panels for heavier loads or longer spans up to 3 feet.

We typically stock dark gray 4’ x 8’ panels in both thicknesses and can ship within 2 business days. Custom panel sizes and colors are also available, call for estimated lead times.
